Account deletion

You can delete your Kempspot account yourself at any time on this page. Deletion is free and permanent.

How to delete your account

1. Signed in: type DELETE below and confirm with “Delete account” (also reachable from My profile → Account settings).
2. Not signed in: enter your account email and we will send you a link. It brings you back here signed in so you can delete the account.
3. Alternatively, email the operator below from the address the account is registered with.

What is deleted

Email and login details, profile (nickname, avatar, language), favourite places, travel diary and visits, vehicles, settings and consents.

Reviews and photos

You can choose to delete your reviews and uploaded photos as well. If you keep them, they stay public without your name as “Former user” and cannot be linked to you. Places you added stay on the map without the author's name.

When data is deleted

The account and app data are deleted immediately. They disappear from backups and system logs within 30 days at the latest. Messages sent via the contact form are deleted within 30 days of being handled unless the law requires us to keep them.
